Alfred

Lovely Alfred and Jax are two of our senior dogs in permanent care. They arrived into care individually and have been lovingly cared for by a foster carer who has a real soft spot for “the oldies”. This means that they will see their days out in a loving foster home while remaining under the wing of CKCSRQ.

At 11 years old, Alfred has a high-grade heart murmur. Despite a real scare in mid-2020, Alfred rallied after receiving some oxygen, medication and care from the hospital staff and was soon back home. Some changes to his medication regime will hopefully see Alfred comfortable and happy for some time yet. A quiet laidback boy Alfred enjoys being groomed and having his face washed by his attentive housemate Buddy, who is also a previous CKCSRQ calendar pin-up.
