Sammy
A forced relocation for his family resulted in this handsome and distinguished 11 year old coming into care with CKCSRQ. An anxious boy, Sammy struggled initially, and we suspect stress was also a major trigger for some of his ongoing health issues. A number of one-on-one sessions with a professional gave them some tools to start making gentle changes in the quest to help Sammy become a happier and calmer boy.
Lady Lily-Grace
Lady’s forever family have gone to a lot of effort for their dogs by creating their very own doggie adventure park in their backyard - aka “Tiny Town”- purposely designed for their ‘short’ furry friends to follow a trail of hidden treasures of tasty morsels. You can sniff them out on Instagram!
Louie
Louie is a big strapping lad with a heart of gold. Sadly, family health issues resulted in the decision to surrender Louie.
Adopted into his new home in April 2020, Louie soon conquered his noted separation anxiety, as he learned that he had nothing to worry about and settled into his new home beautifully.
Megs
Megs is a mature aged lady of over 10 years old, and has been in long term foster care after spending much of her younger life in a breeding facility. Megs spent a good chunk of time with one of our long-serving foster carers, where she was able to settle into the routines and daily happenings of living in a home environment, and start to unravel the confines of fear and anxiety.
Lachlan
This boy is the most charismatic and cheerful lad that you could hope to meet! Lockies family-to-be had been patiently waiting for the right dog to come along for over twelve months and it was most definitely a case of love at first sight. Lockie quickly cast his spell and nabbed himself a spot on the couch!
Eva & Bailey
This pair love being in the garden chasing birds, skinks and anything else that moves. When walking, Eva is a leisurely sniffer who enjoys eating specific grasses, while Bailey is the power walker.
